CHILD PASSENGER SAFETY

The highest rate of deaths among Hispanic children occurs as a result of
improper use of child safety seats, if they are used at all.
MANA, A National Latina Organization, thru a partnership with State Farm Insurance, offers herMANAs an opportunity get certified as a Community Service Technician. As Community Service Technicians, they become experts in child safety, also known as State Farm Fellows. This is an issue that affects our community each year and bilingual technicians are in great demand. Thru this training, herMANAs are provided with tools necessary to take the Child Passenger Saftey Program back to our home communities. MANA de Hidalgo County has been actively involved in promoting Child Passenger Safety events in our area, thanks to the support of State Farm Insurance!
